Short spell of heavy bleeding, 5.5 weeks pregnancy via FET

Hello,
I am 5.5 weeks pregnant following a successful IVF cycle - frozen egg transfer with a day 5 blast.
2 days ago I experience a tiny amount of brown spotting (progesterone discharge tinged with brown) which stopped within an hour. The following day we went into our ivf clinic to do some precautionary bloods, and I was told not to be too worried. However, during the drive home from the clinic yesterday I experienced a 'gush' of bright red blood, with a clot (about the size of a 50p piece). I didn't experience any pain, and the bleeding completely stopped within an hour. Since then I haven't experienced any further bleeding or spotting, just some dull aches/cramps this morning.
We are currently waiting for the blood results which should come back this afternoon, but I am going out of my mind with worry. I was convinced I was miscarrying, but I would also have expected far more bleeding if this was the case.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences?
Thanks you.

Congratulations on your pregnancy,
I am currently 28 weeks pregnant, when I first tested I shortly after had a gush of bright red blood, went to GP who said I had miscarried (although they hadn’t actually done any tests). Week later had no further bleeding and tests still positive so went for early scan at EPU and I was in fact still pregnant with a healthy heart beat and so far everything is still progressing well. I have even had couple more little bleeds throughout my pregnancy journey so far as well and everything still is well. Wish you all the best and hope this can shed some reasurrance, I know first hand how anxiety inducing this all is 🥰🤍
