Did anyone have a SCH that hadn't reabsorbed by 10 weeks? I had a huge bleed at 12 weeks and bleeding on and off for the following month. I'm now at 20 weeks and I'd hoped the sch would've gone as i was told it is unusual for them not to have reabsorbed by 20 weeks. However, on my scan it's still there and measuring 7cm x 4cm x 3xm. I'm just wondering what this will mean for my ongoing pregnancy? What happens if they don't heal? Can this cause complications? Thanks

I guess if at the scan they didn't tell you in was serious then it isn't. I had a bleed and was found to be an SCH. Every scan I was asking it's size, they would check it, but they said that they usually don't keep track of them if they are not endangering the baby.

However, I know it's scary to have one. Has it changed size? Mine went from small to large to small again.

Best wishes

Hi! Thanks for your reply! It's stayed consistently around 6-7cm long and 3cm thick. The ultrasound lady didn't really say much but she is referring me to a consulatant to be monitored, which is why I'm worrying. I don't see them for a couple weeks so just wondering what everything means in the mealtime as havent heard of many people having thempast 20 weeks. Hope you're all ok now

I have multiple specialists because I have lots of issues and they said that if it's not actively bleeding and baby is ok they are not worried at the moment.

Try not to worry. Best wishes!

Hello, just wanted to ask how you were doing?
I am currently 13weeks and have had a SCH since my very first scan at 6weeks and it just seems to be growing. At 12+2 it measured 7cm x 5cm. I've been told it's common with IVF and this is a twin pregnancy but I can't help but worry. Haven't bled at all. Trying to stay positive..
