Bump

When does baby bump start to appear? I’ve have two children 12 and 8, but i can not remember at what point a bump starts to show. I know we get bloating etc with all the changes and hormones in early pregnancy but I’m just wondering when a proper little bump emerges. I’m attending a hen do in May and i’m not sure if I’ll need to buy a maternity style dress or if I’ll get away with an existing dress. I’m almost 8 weeks now so I’ll be about 4 months by then.

@Anne4678 well it's not so simple as of course every pregnant body is different and some women barely show even late on and others couldn't hide it at 10wks if they wanted to. I would say commonly for most women you could expect your body to have changed by 16wks - especially if it's your third pregnancy. Even if you can get into your existing dresses, they probably wouldn't hang the same. ☺️
