Just a question really.

My MW said she had a couple of mums who will be burying their placenta after birth!!

Is it the belief in a living organism??? I dont understand...

Mercy, I live in Hamilton. Weird that they were'nt offered, it has to be legally recorded in their notes whether or not they kept it. Maybe the midwife made some inappropriate assumptions that they wouldn't want it?

We get them back even after they have been sent for testing with stillborns or babies with anything wrong with them, so I can't understand why they wouldn't even be asked

I read a book (can't remember the name now) about people that live in Asia that bury it under the floor of their house so their soul will know where to go when they pass away.
