Hi, just looking for some peoples other experiences etc. I went to have a membrane sweep today, she got into my cervix and said the baby’s head was really low and cervix is open but couldn’t sweep around it because my cervix is tilted. I am now feeling crampy / lower back pain is it possible going into the cervix has done something?
I had 2 sweeps with my first and she was born not long after the second.
I have been booked in for another sweep Saturday but on reflection I can’t see the point if it’s tilted. She said it will count as my first as today was failed..

not sure what I am looking for here just very deflated!

I was told in my last pregnancy that following a sweep cramping was to be expected. Sounds to me like it may have been successful and if you get on a yoga ball or do some bouncing, it may just work! Best of luck!

Did she not ask you to place your fists under your bottom to help? That's what I had to do for a tilted cervix

Unfortunately no signs yet only a bit of back pain but not sure if that’s because baby is pushing against it! Thankyou! X
