I’m 23 weeks today with my first baby so forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question. I don't want to text my Midwife as quite frankly she's useless and just tells me to ring triage. Last night I woke up with such a bad stitch stabbing pain in the right side of me which is where my little girl is lying. Since then I have had mild cramping like period pains. But honestly last night was so painful I was nearly in tears - is this Braxton Hicks? I cant wait for Labour 😩🤣

My braxton hicks weren’t like period pains, they were just my stomach going hard, mainly on the top, no pain at all. A stitch type pain could be trapped wind but if you are worried it’s always a good idea to give triage a ring just to put your mind at ease
