Anyone know if you can take an Ipod with you into hospital or will they class it as like a Phone and that it might interfere with the equipment??
Just thought I might pack mine for the labour stint and not have to talk to my DH!

am fairly sure that there is no problem with ipods.

the problem with phones is the signal that can interfere with the equipment (I think) and an ipod doesn't have the same signal.

no problem with them, take it in

I've just been discharged (hypermemis, not the actual birth yet) ipod no problem, phone no problem even.

When I was in having dd one of the consultants came into my room to take a call
