8 weeks bleeding

Hi, I'm 8 weeks 2 days pregnant and I started with brown spotting 2 days ago and yesterday and this morning I've had bright red blood when I wipe. I have a pad on and no blood seems to be going on the pad just when I wipe. No cramping but a little bit of back ache. Does anyone know if this is normal? I called my midwife and she told me to just keep an eye on the bleeding

Hi I had this with my fist if it’s brown it’s old blood nothing to be concerned about expecially if there is no flow to it , I agree with MW keep eye on it if it changed colour , the flow changed into a bleed or you have any pain
