On Thursday I started bleeding light pink blood after sex (something that has never happened before).

I have been and had a private scan when I seen the bleeding Thursday and the baby had a heart beat, no bleeding around the baby then yesterday eve I passed a clot I went straight to a&e and they said that it’s now a “threatened miscarriage”.

The gynaecologist said that 9/10 women walk away with no problems, I’m just waiting to be booked in for a scan. I’ve had no pain whatsoever just the bleeding and the little clot that I passed.

I just need some reassurance

How far are you into your pregnancy? Have you been experiencing any other pregnancy symptoms? Do you still have any symptoms?

When I had a miscarriage, it was accompanied by pain and the bleeding was constant like a period.

I’m 7 weeks today

Tiredness, felling sick every now and then and my boobs are tender.

I have no pain and the bleeding is only when I wipe I have nothing in my trousers.

Bleeding in pregnancy is really common, please get referred to the early pregnancy assessment unit for reassurance, but it sounds different to my experience of pregnancy loss ❤️

The light bleeding could be from an irritated cervix, the clot could be a small subchorionic hematoma, I had a large one that was missed on a scan two days prior to the bleed. The clot was also passed the day after having sex so not sure if that triggered it. Same as you it was painless. Hope you have a scan soon and can get some reassurance!
