I’m hoping to find some solidarity in posting this! I’m 8 weeks pregnant with my second child and I’m having to eat like hourly to manage the nausea. I didn’t have this with my first but if I don’t give my stomach something that regularly, I feel really unwell! I’m very worried about the extra calories and how much weight I’m going to gain. Hoping this stops soon!

has anyone had this experience before?

Yes! I'm 8 weeks now and exactly the same, only feel okay when I'm eating or for about 10 mins after! Trying to eat healthy things like fruit but craving carbs and sweets 🙈 I was the same with DD1 until 11/12 weeks and then felt fine. I think I put on quite a lot of weight in first trimester last time but then less after that so hoping it will be the same this time 🤞

This was me in the first trimester - I had to eat at least every hour (usually shite) or I’d feel horrific! It doesn’t last forever though so I say just go with it!! My sickness calmed down at around 16 weeks and my eating became more normal.

Im sorry you are also experiencing it but also glad to hear im not a weird anomaly! I’m so ready for first trimester to be over. I’m usually such an active person and I currently don’t have the energy to even get out for a walk. It’s miserable!

I’m the same, I read it’s best to have like 6 small meals a day which is easier said than done at times. I’ve given up caring and just eating what I fancy and can stomach!
