Hi everyone,

I am hoping for some support advice and to share stories.

I went for a scan to rule out and ectopic pregnancy internal scan showed gestational sac but nothing inside nurse advised this is normal and have no concerns baby in right place epu were really reassuring but am back in 2 weeks to see growth and further put my mind at ease. Woke up yesterday morning to some light spotting not enough to mark a towel or anything however lasted all day and went away night time. Woke up this morning and its like a pinkish colour all of this is only when wiping. Spoke to epu who advised they could not tell me if i am going to misscarry as its hard to tell at this stage and that at times its normal. Also just to keep an eye out if it gets heavier or not. I have pcos and period jan previous period was in September so i am totally in shock this has happened however very very happy. I just wanted to know if anyone simular in my situation and everything was ok? Scan in 12 days so keeping all my fingers crossed.

thanks
💖

I had the same experience when early pregnant with this baby (now 36 weeks and will have baby in 2 weeks). The bleeding is suspected to be caused by irritation of the cervix (sex). Monitor the bleeding and pop a pad on to be sure. All the best for your scan in 12 days - I hope it’s the best news possible x

I had the same he is 15 it's not hopeless until it is hopeless

FYI mine was an irritated cervix too

Thank you ladies iv not had sex or anything like that since just had an internal scan wednesday not sure if this has pushed any blood. am just scared 2 previous miscarriages and this has took 3 years. I am hopefully still just abit scary. I think because i dont have a typical 28 cycle one of the epu nurses worried me yesterday. Will keep this thread posted.

@Nicolad92 it sounds like the internal scan may have irritated your cervix a bit. Hopefully that's all it is. As for scan, it sounds like what was seen is all good and normal for your gestation. Everything crossed for you that it's all developing well and you get reassurance at your next scan. I know the waiting feels interminable but slowly slowly it'll come round! 💕 (Currently 18+4 after 3 losses last year) X

@SnookyPook oh my gosh am so happy for you. Good things do come to those who wait. And we all deserve this.
thank you all for the reassurance honestly women really stick together in times like this 💖

@Nicolad92 Hi, I’m in the same position. Went to EPU this morning and was told they could currently only see the sac. My last period was 6 weeks and 2 days ago and they’ve told me I’m only 5 weeks along so don’t know if I need to worry. They couldn’t say either way but I’ve also had 2 previous miscarriages so I’m super anxious now. Got to wait until 28th for a re-scan, it’s going to feel like a lifetime! Best of luck at your next scan xx

@EnfysB i have irregular periods so i know am only 5 weeks and that was confirmed to. Don't have normal 28 cycle. Epu couldnt off been anymore reassuring on the wednesday. I was a little annoyed yesterday when i called and the women told me to worry as i should be 7 weeks without reading my file. Standard typical assumption i have a 28 cycle. Anyway they told me not to worry to much as it can be normal. I wont know until 27th when my scan is of baby has developed like it should have. I have faith we will be ok. Keep me posted 💖
