Early bleeding

Hi ladies, I started spotting at 6dpo (tracking bbt and believe this was the day I implanted) got a BFP at 10dpo. I am still spotting 10 days on :(, had bloods done to check HCG level and am 64 which they said was good for 4 weeks, am back tomorrow to see if they’ve doubled. Just wondering if anyone has any bleeding that has lasted this long and all worked out ok?

Am worried about ectopic even though I’ve no pain and the nurse said implantation bleeding can last up to 8 weeks (compared to dr google saying 1-3)!

Sorry you’re going through the stress of bleeding! I had it with my second pregnancy. It lasted a week from 5-6 weeks and then again 8-9 weeks. It’s really stressful and makes you want to keep checking. With mine there was no explanation for the bleeding. I was also told that implantation bleeding could last a matter of weeks instead of a short burst.

Hopefully things work out for you! Have you referred to the midwives yet? If so you could always phone your local early pregnancy unit and ask for some advice.
Sadly there’s not much they can do as it’s a wait and see sort of thing but they may arrange a scan at 6 weeks.

Yes! I had bleeding that lasted for ages in both my pregnancies. Babies were fine xx

I rung EPU who were really nice and said it's really common, believe it's implantation bleeding and said to check HCG levels. They said they would scan me at 7 weeks if all works out ok as you can't see much at the moment. I have my second blood test today so I really hope there's a significant increase!
