Hi All. I’m 22 weeks tomorrow and I’ve just started to get pain that’s like period pains including lower back pain. I’m at work and just had to take paracetamol. Is this normal? Sorry it’s my first pregnancy and I’d rather ask here than google it to see if anyone has experienced this? Thank you!

It can be normal yes but if you've not felt this so far I'd give your midwife a buzz and go get checked out just to be safe x

could've wrote this myself at around 22/23 weeks had period pain and lower back pain, I asked my midwife at one of my appointments she said it can be normal she didnt seem worried, I used a slightly slightly warm hot water bottle on my lower back making sure not too hot, and it went I had it for a few days, it still happens sometimes, sometimes after a lot of walking
but if your worried dont ever feel like any problem is too small to ask your midwife better than worrying
fyi im 26 weeks now have it every now and then still

@redddssak Thank you! It’s actually eased off since I took paracetamol I’ll have a warm bath later. I have text my midwife but she’s a bit of a nightmare at getting back to me. It’s my first baby so I’m not sure how and what is normal 🫣
