Please help!!! Sorry if this a bit TMI but things like this need to talked about!!!

I am 24 week pregnant i am aware that you have a lot of discharge when pregnant like ' old blood'which I've had for a few months now, what I want to know is if this is still normal how long does it carry on for? I am a first time mum so haven't got a clue!

When you say old blood type- is it brown or red?
Every pregnancy is different, with my first there was barely any discharge but my second there was a lot. Best thing to do is contact your midwife and chat it through with them. They will be able to reassure you and or suggest a gp appointment to make sure it’s not an infection.

Awh ok it's brown not red, I rang the midwife's awhile ago and they said it was normal but didn't know how long it would go on for! X

I would definitely contact again and check in. I had a bit of brown spotting and discharge at the start of my pregnancy but it eased off before 12 weeks. If your scans are going well then that’s the main thing! Does your midwife know it’s still ongoing?

I had a private scan on Saturday& everything was perfect. I don't get it all the time and it's only in my underwear not when I wipe I'll mention it again to them just wanted to ask if anyone else had the same!! Xx
