How far gone ?

Hi !
i EBF my 9 month old baby, I had my first period on the 19th feb lasted a week. Few weeks later partner said I think you’re pregnant, took a test lines came up immediately and very dark. Just wondering if I could be further along ?

It's possible, your "period" could have been an implantation bleed, although it lasting a week send quite long. It would be unusual to get such a clear and quick positive at 3 weeks though.

I had a similar thing, felt I was pregnant but was only 3 weeks past my "period", took a test and it was immediately a dark line. I just thought I'd ovulated really early or something. I had a scan at about 8 weeks (due to a health condition) and I turned out to be 12 weeks. My "period" lasted about 4 days though which is slightly shorter than usual.

I guess until you have a scan you won't know for sure!

my test came back positive 2 weeks after my period, that’s what’s making me think I’m further ahead. I will make an appointment with the dr. My head feels like I’m in space

If it was only two weeks then I'd say it does sound like that wasn't a proper period! I'm not sure how they'd date your pregnancy given you haven't actually had a period since your last baby, but speaking to a doctor/midwife definitely sounds like a good idea!
