I think see something very faintly on the second one but it’s hard to tell. Test again in a few days and I really hope that you get the result you want.

So obviously, at 17, you don't want to be pregnant.

Are you on contraception?

not really

Have you had any thoughts about what you will do if it’s positive?

If it’s negative, do you know how to access contraception going forward?

Hi, OP! (OP is original poster - the person who made the post, when people say OP, they're talking about you 😊)

Are you in education at the moment? If you are, you should have access to a counsellor or another type of confidential support. You can talk to them for some in person support.

Regarding contraception - there will be sexual health clinics in your area (I'm sure). You can go there and you'll be able to access contraception if pregnancy isn't what you're hoping for at this point. If you're in education, there may be a school nurse that also can provide free contraception (I work in a school, ours provides this and is fully confidential).

Do you have any family, friends, or a partner you can talk to about your situation? It's stressful being in the unknown of whether or not you're pregnant. It would be great to have someone you trust to speak to. Of course, we're here for you too, but having someone face to face really does help too. x

TheShellBeach · 10/03/2024 22:57

Can you make an appointment with your practice nurse to get advice about contraception.

And if you thought you might be pregnant, you must have had unprotected sex. That's not safe from a sexually transmitted diseases point of view.

You should always insist that your boyfriends use condoms. Every time.
