Have just found out I am 15 weeks pregnant and binge drinking - so scared!

Can anyone please offer any advice or support. I have just found out I am 15 weeks (irregular periods and no symptoms) and have been binge drinking on average twice a week throughout. I am absolutely petrified I have caused severe damage and can’t stop panicking about it. Scan looked fine but I am aware these things don’t show up there. Thanks very much.

My understanding of drinking during first trimester is that it's a bit of an 'all or nothing' thing. As it can cause miscarriage or it can all be OK.

There's nothing you can do about what as happened, all you can do is look to the future and make sure you're as healthy as possible between now and the end of pregnancy.

There's no point beating urself up about it now u were unaware as long as u stop now and don't again going forward for the rest of your pregnancy I know of a couple of people didn't find out until later on and things were fine but every pregnancy different congratulations and hope all goes well xx
