Your gonna think I'm batshit crazy here. I'm 13+2 4th baby and the past week and half I've been having movement...getting stronger and stronger & usually at night. However , the past two days the baby has been REALLY active! Most of the day! Like I've felt baby move ALOT today which is great!!!! I'm just so confused as I've gone through this before of course 🤣 but the earliest I've ever felt movements like this was 16+ weeks. Its strong movement not flutters 😳 It's not trapped wind of anything like that. Me my husband our children and my parents are all seeing & feeling strong movement ...is it normal at this stage or is there a chance I'm possibly further along than I thought?? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈🤣

Have you had your first scan?

TeaKitten · 07/03/2024 21:28

Have you not had a scan?

I'm 14 weeks with 4th baby and pretty sure I've felt the odd flutter but movement that strong seems unusual unless your quite a bit further along 🤔

I had a scan at 6+4 weeks & I've not yet had my dating scan it's not for another 2 weeks yet 🤦🏻‍♀️
So I'm thinking maybe they misjudged me at 6+4 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think that’s very unlikely OP, not by that much anyway. At close to 13 weeks you can’t be seeing and feeling movement on the outside of your belly, pregnancy wind can do crazy things though!

I thought so too! 🙈 But it's not trapped wind 100% & it's not just me feeling and seeing it it's multiple others too , and when you've felt the feelings before you know the difference. I feel crazy just saying it! 🤣🤣

if you’re 13 weeks and not having a dating scan for another two weeks , why are they offering it at 15 weeks ??? It’s tooo late for all the measurements at this point for nuchal translucency and the combined test via blood

Thought the same as with my previous pregnancies they've all been between 12-13 weeks , got my scan date & called my midwife and the only thing she said was due to a high number of woman needing to seen around the same time & they've booked me in as soon as they can 🤷🏻‍♀️
