Booking blood test and badger notes

Hello I had my booking bloods done on Monday so just the fbc and all the other stuff they do..

When will they be available to see.

If anything was wrong would they have called by now? It's been 3 days.

Only asking as I feel anaemic

The serology results are unlikely to be back yet. The others will be back now. Depending on your local midwives the results may not be in Badger yet. If there is a concern about your FBC your midwives will contact you.

I was told by my midwife that they don't upload blood results to the app anymore due to a mix up that was made with someone else previously, however that might just be my trust.
I needed iron tablets during my pregnancy and the midwife called me the day after I had my bloods taken to tell me, so I do think they would call you and let you know but you could always give them a call and ask the question.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! My midwife always says 5 working days just to be on the safe side. If there’s any problems with my bloods then she usually phones. I’m anaemic so she phoned as soon as she got the results to arrange my medication.
If the results are fine then they just get uploaded whenever the midwife gets a chance.

I’m 17 weeks and there’s nothing what so ever on my app apart from one midwife appointment.

My midwife said they call if anything they need to tell you, otherwise assume fine

@elsie888 it was roughly 5 days but my midwife said she had to chase them as we knew I hadn’t been feeling well.

Badger app depends on your midwife I guess- my first pregnancy the only thing that was updated was the ultrasounds and that was down to the sonographer hitting publish results to app. My first midwife didn’t post anything and said if she had any concerns then she would contact me.
My second midwife updates the app as often as she can, it usually takes a few days after the appointment before I can see anything. I also have a purple book to take to appointments but no one has ever asked to look at it and I don’t get print outs of any results- all I have in it is consultant appointment letters and my mat b form!
