C section appointment

So I mentioned at my 28 week appointment I would like a c section for a few reasons. They've referred me to the birthing options team to discuss further. I have a phone call appointment tomorrow and a in person appointment with the consultant on the 20th march. Just wondered what the need for the two appointments are, what is spoken about over the phone? As I'm assuming most of it will be discussed face to face

so I opted for an ELCS and they call you over the telephone usually the week before to discuss your reasons for wanting one, risks, pros and cons and general discussion.

then when you attend in person, they go through this in more detail, sometimes they give you a date but not always and then they do a mini pre-op (depending on the area you live in) I found both the telephone and face to face consultations quite helpful X
