I’m worried I’ve just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant but have been taking Zopiclone every night 7.5mg I’m so so scared I’ve done damage to the baby as online there is mixed messages on it’s safety, I am terrified I’ve done damage, does anyone have any success stories to help me ease my mind. Thank you

I only just saw this. I was the same, absolutely no damage done, had a healthy 9lb boy who is now 18 and doing an apprenticeship. The placenta isn’t formed at 6 weeks and very little transfers to the baby. Don’t worry at all.

I am an HCP - Zopiclone isn't recommended in pregnancy.

In late pregnancy it can cause neonatal hypothermia and respiratory depression.

Zopiclone really isn't recommended for prolonged use.

Im really hoping your GP has informed you of all the above.

I am aware of this and have had to cut the tablets in half and weening off them. I’m not planning on taking them in late pregnancy as I am getting off them now
