We have our 2nd 4D scan on Saturday - had the last one 2 weeks ago and baby's head was so low we didn't see her face at all, didnt see much at all really - so have been asked to come back this weekend - problem is I am pretty sure she is still low - any tips on getting her to move up a bit as my consultant says this is why my SPD is so bad too! HELP!!!
thank you

someone correct me if i am wrong but isnt it good shes tucked down nicely ? not for your scan i realise but for your baby.

No the consultant has said that she is unusually low and ideally we need to encourage her to move up a bit - as only 28 weeks and I have a small pelvis and we need to make sure her head has room to grow properly! - I never wanted the 4D scan to be honest but a friend has paid a lot of money for it as a present and now we have been once we can't get our money back, just repeat scans to try and get some picutres!

But yes in general low is good!

Hello! I had to go back after two weeks when I had my 4d scan with babybond!! But it was because baby had his hands over his face and they wouldn't budge!!!

I am not sure how to get baby higher up, but I guess just make sure you have a meal before and hopefully baby will be moving about more!!

Good luck!

My DS1 and current baby (due in 7 weeks) were both so low down at 20 week scan that they struggled to obtain correct images to check growth etc. The sonographer tipped the bed backwards so my head was lower than my tummy until baby literally 'tipped out' of pelvis! Not suggesting you hang upside down but somehow raising your tummy to let gravity help may be useful??? (be careful when you stand up though cause I was so light headed as all the blood had rushed to my head I nearly collapsed!) Just an idea!

Also, doesn't having a fully bladder force the baby further up?? Isn't that why you're supposed to have full bladder at 12 weeks scan to push the uterus up high enough to be visible?? No expert here but someone else may know for sure.

Good luck with it all!
