What was a bloody show like for you?

I’m 37 weeks and have been spotting on occasion in the pregnancy. Midwives think it’s due to the ectropian they discovered.

(Sorry if tmi) The spotting is always light pink and only visible when wiping. Each time I’ve gone to the triage after a check they haven’t been concerned.

I’ve noticed light pink spotting throughout the day - this is the first time I’ve spotted in 2 months.

I’ve heard that bloody shows can be spotting over a period of time. I’m seeing my midwife on Monday and I wondered if you had a bloody show what was it like?

I was 37 weeks.
I felt some liquid/wet - it was clear. Thought maybe waters. But stopped.
A few hours later, brown/red mucus when wiping.
Saw a Midwife who confirmed it was a bloody show, sent me home saying labour may be imminent or could be another few weeks.
Went into labour a few days later. Waters leaking.
Failure to progress so baby born via ECS 4,5 days after the bloody show.

Thanks both! Sounds like the mucus and red is the giveaway. Will check on Monday.
