Is labour happening or am I fooling myself?

Seeking some motivation/ positivity please!
38+ 2 here and feel very much like I have been pregnancy forever!
*Belly dropped about a month ago, still getting lower even though I don't know how!it's about to fall off!!!
*Sleep is gone to very little
*false labour almost daily now, sometimes regular
*cramps and diarrhea every morning and these have all been going on for over a week after a full pregnancy of constipation
So basically I feel like my body is playing tricks on me to get me in to thinking labour is soon! I'm doing lots of walking, ball and RLT, etc! I don't think my body can do another 2 -4 weeks!
any advice or words of wisdom? does it sound soon compared to your experiences?
should I keep walking miles until I'm sore which is what I have been doing or should I give up and just rest and wait? I feel like I need distraction but over doing it everyday isn't helping either!
