iron tablets side effects

ive been on ferrous sulphate 200mg x2 a day so 400mg a day total for just over a week
is black poo normal? also feel like my appetite has slightly decreased but that could be not related/ stress related
I have 0 other symptoms

Black poo is completely normal. It goes back to brown within a few days when you stop taking the pills.

thats good to know I was quite shocked to say the least lol

I had black slimy diarrhoea when I had them after having ds, they went in the bin the minute I arrived home.
