I'm 37+4 I've been losing my mucus plug now for about 9 days, never seen any blood in it though.

Today I have started having period pain, All in my lower back and my legs. It's been happening now for about 4 hours, I don't know if I'm having contractions or Braxton hicks, but my belly it's getting really tight, I'm feeling quite a lot of pressure down below, on and off nausea and I've been to the toilet twice with softer stools.

With my first I was induced at 39 weeks so no symptoms in previous labour

oo how exciting! This to me sounds like early labour. Have you been timing the contractions?

I have they only last between 30-40 seconds at the moment and are quite irregular at the moment, hoping it's real labour and not Braxton-Hicks x

I had similar with my son at 37+5 and kept laughing it off with my sister saying I was going into labour, but we were joking as surely first baby wouldn't come early and surely it would hurt way more than this! Eventually my waters broke that same day... In my sister car, she wasn't laughing anymore 🤣. He was then born at exactly 38 weeks x

Early labour can take ages.
So rest up @Followthestarsxoxo

Keep us updated 😊.
im not a medical professional btw just had two births with long latent stages and I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant.
Speak to your midwife/equivalent for advice .

Sounds like it to me. Mine started like that in the morning and my waters broke at 11.30pm. I'd had my son by 5am so it wasn't that long really for me! Good luck x

Definitely sounds like it could be! I didn’t have a long labour at all but experienced a few of the signs you’ve mentioned, just in a very short space of time! Good luck!
