After delivery pains

Has any one had postpartum pains start 8 days past having the baby have to drink medication other wise can't walk feels like my tummy is swollen

Mine started within hours, usually when breastfeeding. I'm no expert though, sounds like you need to check with a midwife. Hope you work out what's going on and feel better soon.

Could be a bit of an infection maybe. I'd call midwife or GP and get checked just in case.

Shouldn't start this late, afterpains usually start immediately (or within hours) of the birth and taper off. Sounds like there could possibly be an infection, I'd contact your midwife or GP

Update , turns out I was severely constipated even though I went toilet everyday had some stool softener is so much better 🤷🏻‍♀️

At least its hopefully a fairly easy fix. Dreading this part of being post partum this time round
