First trimester bladder discomfort?

Hi! Maybe someone else has experienced this, but I woke up today with urge to pee (not unusual), and since then all day I’ve felt a sort of pressure and tingles around where I think my bladder and urethra are. I’m 7 weeks, first pregnancy.
I had a couple of UTIs throughout my life and they started with painful peeing, and after a day I’d get antibiotics. Nothing was left to progress. I don’t feel pain peeing today, just like uncomfortable… it’s so weird. I don’t feel it when I lie down. I tried googling and it’s mostly around more frequent urination, or later on when baby is pressing on bladder.. is it my uterus growing? I’ve got first midwife appointment next week, I’ll mention it… could it be uti though? I don’t have anything else like blood in urine or cloudy or fever…

I'd ring your GP in the morning and ask them if you can drop a sample in to be dipped by the nurse. I had 10 weeks of a recurrent UTI during my last pregnancy and at no point did it hurt to wee. In fact the first time it spread to my kidneys because I didn't click straight away it was a UTI. Don't leave it until next week.
