Bleeding after internal scan

Had a scan at 6+1 yesterday and everything was fine and there was a strong heartbeat.

About 10 hours later (around midnight) I had pink/red blood when wiping and then brown discharge this morning.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm sure a bit of pink when wiping can be normal after a vaginal scan. I would contact your clinic for advice though OP just to be sure.

Hi hun what was the outcome for you?

Jemi23 · 23/01/2025 11:57

@Waitingformyrainbowx Hiya, I had a very small subchorionic haematoma. This type of bleeding happened about 3/4 times during early pregnancy. I’m currently holding my sleeping 3 month old :)
wishing you all the best!
