Bloat bump at 4 weeks

Is this normal bloating for 4 weeks?

I feel like I'm about to burst, felt bloated since about 3 weeks+2 days but my belly is just getting more bloated and feels really hard. I'm not constipated and I'm staying hydrated.

Sorry if this seems silly, it's my first pregnancy and when I bloat normally it's never ever this bad and feels completely different. Just wondering if anyone else bloats like this in the early days? Does anything help reduce it?

Thank you for the reassurance! Never heard anyone I know talk about early bloating before and my family keep telling me I'm having twins lol don't think poppy seeds could take up that much room x

I bloated so badly with my second, when I went for my 8 week appointment the midwife mistook me for another lady who was 8 months along. I tried all sorts to get it to go down but nothing worked unfortunately, it just eventually turned into a baby bump.

I’ve been extremely bloated in both my pregnancies. As soon as I had a positive test it was as if my belly expanded overnight.

Im 12+6 in this pregnancy now and I’m still so bloated.

I had a big bloat bump not as early as this but from about 10 weeks it was solid. Now at 23 weeks it's smaller than it was then and squishier. I just look like I've had a really good all inclusive holiday!
Everyone is different I keep getting told I'm tiny but baby is measuring ok and kicking away.

Hi everyone!

A few days ago I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant! Me and my partner are over the moon 🥰

I have felt incredibly bloated, and have funny feelings in my tummy, (sorry to sound gross) but almost like when you hold in farts, my belly is like rumbling because of it and every now and then have the odd cramp or pulling sensation.

This is my first pregnancy, is this normal??
I’m finding it quite uncomfortable at times.
thank you in advance ❤️

Congratulations! Im in the same position as you, first pregnancy, found out 2 days ago and we’re about 5 weeks pregnant. I’ve been feeling really bloated the last two weeks and had mild cramps.

Thank you!
huge congratulations to you also!

from what I have read it’s totally normally, mines just come on all of a sudden over the last few days, I almost feel constantly constipated but I’m sure it’s too early for that!
what sort of cramps are you getting?

Yeah I thinks it completely normal. Feels a little bit like a very mild period pain, what it feels like just before your period is going to start.

just curious, did you have a baby boy or girl?

I'm with you. Very bloated. I remember it with my son as well, but definitely worse this time!
