Implantation or ovulation bleeding

I am currently CD22 of my cycle and have been spotting. Me and DH DTD CD7 (he has been away for work since so it's the only time it could have happened).
I have never had ovulation spotting but have in a previous pregnancy spotted which I assume was implantation.
It also seems abit late for ovulation but would be surprised if I was ovulating CD7 to be pregnant (normally have 28/29 day cycles).
Can anyone remember when in their cycle they have had implantation or ovulation spotting?

Also from implantation bleeding how soon did you test positive?

It varies from person to person, but I had implantation bleeding the day before my period was due (13 days after ovulation). I tested positive the next day, but that was the first test I took in that cycle, so I could well have got a positive if I'd tested before that.

I know this is a bit of an old post but what was your outcome?

I'm literally in the same position at the moment, started brown spotting on CD22, it's now CD24 and still got the odd bit of spotting when I wipe.. don't need to wear anything. My periods are a bit irregular so I'm confused as to what it could be.

My period should be due in a little over a week however I never know with my cycles. But if it was my period starting early it would have come full flow by now! I've never had spotting between cycles before so I'm a bit unsure...
