Hi!
has anyone had one of the early sneak peek blood tests done to find out the gender of their baby at 6 weeks? I’m tempted to try it cause I’m so impatient to know! But don’t know if it is that reliable?

thanks!

Hi. I'm currently 32 weeks and we did one at 9 weeks. It said boy. At my growth scan last week, they said it was a girl.. so now I don't know what to think.🫣🫣

I read it's possible to get a false boy result due to dna getting from under your fingernails and contaminating the blood sample.

They do say if the result is different to what they said it is, you get a refund.

I did a sneak peek test which game back with the result to a girl but I unfortunately had a MMC at 15 weeks and they were unable to tell (baby was 12 weeks) so I'll never know if it was true (although the sonographer at 12 weeks said going off nub she thought girl, too).

I did one when I was 6 weeks pregnant and got a boy result which was correct. You do need to be very careful when doing the test not get male DNA in the sample. Apparently this is easy to do accidentally especially if you live with males, and it would give a boy result when you’re maybe not having a boy. Just clean the area where you do the test well, wash your hands thoroughly and follow the instructions and you should get an accurate result.

NIPT is a better option if you want to know and have it not be wrong! Can be done from 10 weeks.

I paid to have it done at a pharmacy, so the blood isn't contaminated, mine was accurate but there's only 50/50 chance

The trust pilot reviews don't paint a good picture of the reliability but I've not used them myself and would still be tempted 😅

If you have low blood pressure don’t bother as you won’t get enough blood out to give a sample. I had a terrible time with mine and obviously couldn’t ask anyone to help me. The company were very quick to give me a refund though. We found out at a private gender scan that we’re having a girl so I’m just going to wait for the scan again if we fall pregnant another time.

Hi
I bought the sneak peek test as I was so eager to know the sex of our baby. I ordered and delivery was so quick. I took my sample and was very rigorous with following the instructions. I mailed it to Bradford by using the postage required. I managed to track this to the freight company that is supposed to take to the USA for testing. It never did travel and now my sample is no where to be found. Nearly a month has past, I have sent numerous emails that seem to be ignored.
I do not recommend any expecting parents to use this supposedly reputable company as it's sole purpose is to exploit and give false hope
. As Thanks
