Hand warts and handling Newborn?

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and am getting more and more little warts on my left hand- have always had 2 small ones there, my whole adult life, but I assume due to my immune system lowering they're increasing. I will ask my doctor about this, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with handling a newborn while you have hand warts? Or if you've been given any advice by a doctor about it?

Realistically I don't see how it will be practically possible to avoid touching the baby with my bare hand while caring for her 24/7, unless I constantly wear a single glove like Michael Jackson😆 but I will of course follow doctors advice if it's likely to be risky to pass them on. I assume they'll mostly disappear after birth eventually.

Any advice or experience with this from anyone?

Just bumping- realise this may not be directly pregnancy related but keen to hear from anyone similar

I know this was a while ago but just wondering how you got on with it all? Im currently in the same situation and it is making me very anxious when handling my newborn 😭

Hey, sorry for the delayed reply- I asked the obstetrician about this and she said it wasn't an issue abd not to even think about it. She said hand warts are very common and rarely transfer to a baby. My dd is 16 weeks now and no sign of any warts! Ask the GP just to be sure uf you have lots/big warts, but its been fine for me!
