Brown spotting - has anyone experienced similar?

Hi peeps, Im 6+3 weeks pg & yesterday i noticed some light brown spotting and very slight cramp. It has gone now (touchwood) but im so scared cos i had a m/c in jan and was about 9 weeks then so im so scared of it happening again, has anyone had similar experiences? I dont want to tell my partner because he will panic. X

Was it after sex?
Brown blood is old blood so not as much to worry about as bright red blood.
Try to take it easy and keep an eye on things.

We did have sex that morning but it wasnt til early evening when i saw it ...scared of doing anything again and ive rested ever since.

The fact that you had sex is a good sign, it was probably from that, I have had it a couple of times this pg at the early stages, always a few hours after sex. Am now 38weeks and no issues.

thanks hun thats very reassuring - i have a scan on friday to check for heartbeat. bit scary cos it was an empty sac last time

I've had brown spotting in 2 pregnancies. In the first(11 weeks), it turned out the pregnancy wasn't viable. In the second (7 weeks), it disappeared after a few days, and the pregnancy continued successfully.

No bleeding is good news, but there is always hope.
