38 weeks and fed UP

Hey ladies!!!

38 weeks pregnant and totally fed up now. Baby was fully engaged at my 36 week appointment, been losing mucus plug daily for weeks now but had my 38 week appointment today and baby is no longer engaged 😞 feel so deflated.

Anyone else near the end and feeling fed up?

Hi! 37 weeks here and sooooo fed up. Got my next appointment on Tuesday - sick of heartburn, poor sleep and just feeling uncomfortable generally!

Nothing of any use to say other than I am feeling the same 🩷

No honestly it’s nice to speak to people in the same boat because these last few weeks can be so lonely and isolating 😭

when is your due date? And do you know what you’re having?xx

@Amae ask for a prescription for heartburn tablets! I got one and haven’t had a bit of heartburn since 🙏🏻

38 + 4 here and it’s challenging isn’t it 😩 had my first at 37 + 6 so it’s new to me this time. Have had the worst headache today all day too literally throbbing! Everything is so uncomfy & sore 🙈 Is your due date first week of March?

These last few weeks really are so mentally challenging. Every day feels like a week long 😫

Bless you, I haven’t had headaches but my legs are in agony when I walk 😭

Is it due to fluid retention? I have spd and it’s been awful this pregnancy & kicked in much sooner than first pregnancy.

My due date is next Sunday 3rd! Who knows when baby will decide to arrive though 😂Have my 40 week app on the 4th. Think I’ll opt for induction if offered it at that point as my son’s birthday is on the 8th 🙈

Right there with you. 38+1. My first was born at 36 weeks so I was really hoping for birth in week 37 this time.

im so uncomfortable. Heartburn is kicking my butt and I have contractions most days but no progress.

I think it’s just carrying the weight, I’ve always been very slim so I think my joints are just not used to this extra weight 😂😭

im keeping my fingers crossed for you!! My birthday is the 7th and my baby is due on the 8th as excited as I am to meet them I really don’t want to share a birthday with them 😂 xx

Bless you - it’s honestly so challenging towards the end isn’t it. I’ve been fine the whole way through but once I hit 37 weeks everything has just got so much harder!!

If you haven’t already had any - pregnancy massage! I’ve had them every 4 or so weeks this pregnancy & honestly it’s got me through it.Wish I would have done it first time round too but just didn’t know the benefits at the time - I had just the one and was like - should have done this sooner & more!

Haha don’t blame you my son is also saying he doesn’t want to share his birthday 😂

Baby girl arrived yesterday afternoon 40+1! Didn’t make it to the 40 week appointment 🙈 We are here at the moment as I had 3rd degree tears and was taken to theatre after delivery.

Congratulations!! My boy arrived this morning at 9:13am 🥹 we did it!!! (39+5) oh bless you - sending all the love for a speedy recovery!! X
