Tiredness and on cocktail of meds

I have had 3 MC. I've just found out I'm pregnant currently just over 4 weeks. Because of my RMC, im on the below

40mg clexane - administered in AM
25mg prednisolone - taken AM
75mg aspirin - taken AM
400mg cyclogest twice a day

I also take 5mg folic acid (taken AM) and pregnacare max (taken PM).

Im really struggling with tiredness, and all I want to do is sleep.

Should I consider changing my routine? I have been advised clexane shouldn't be changed after first admistratiom.

Any advice will be great.

Prednisolone is best taken at morning so it doesnt affect sleep
Aspirin can be taken at night if you wanna move that
cyclogest is the only one of the 4 which is more likely to cause drowsiness

however, the drowsniness could also just be a pregnancy factor and not related to the meds

So sorry for your losses.

I think it might be many factors at play, for example -

-The medications can cause tiredness.
-Maybe anaemia or low iron? It might be worth having a blood test (ferritin / haemoglobin levels), especially if you have lost blood during previous miscarriages.
-Early pregnancy itself is a real killer. I was super tired and drained too.

I would have a chat with the GP and see if any of those things can be the reason, or if they have other ideas.

If nothing is causing it, then maybe just a good nap and lots of sleep is what you really need. I love my sleep!

Good luck!

I wasn't on a single medication when I was pregnant, and all I wanted to do was sleep. That was my first symptom, actually.

Thank you all.

I will get my blood checked. I didn't realise cyclogest can cause drowsiness. This does make sense as it's soon after I start to feel really tired.

And yes, you are all right, tiredness is a symptom too.

I think with all my previous losses I've forgotten what I felt in the earlier pregnancies although from what I can recall each one to include this one feels different.

Xx
