Early scan measuring behind

Hi everyone

Im wondering if anyone has been through the same with a positive outcome? going of the first day of my last period I thought I was around 6+4 days, I had and early scan because of previous ectopic and multiple mmc’s. They said they can see a sac and it looks like I’m around 4 weeks, so either the pregnancy isn’t progressing or I’m not as far along as I think, I had bloods taken and they came back 3000 so will repeat them tomorrow to find out what is happening. Has anybody had the same experience? I’m really confused because my boobs are still sore well it comes and goes and I’m still really tired throughout the day, also pregnancy test are still really strong positives, I know they would be with hcg levels at 3000 but surely if the baby had stopped growing 2 weeks ago they would be getting fainter by now ? Or maybe not I’m just clinging onto hope at the min.

When did you first get a positive test? Could it be that you ovulated a couple of weeks late? If you have long or irregular cycles it could be that.

The time that this happened to me (measuring behind) I knew that I was measuring behind as I'd gotten a positive test a few weeks before the scan so there was no way I had ovulated late.

Sorry you've had so much pregnancy loss, it's a horrible place to be in x

Thankyou ❤️ it’s the worse feeling! I remeber taking a test on the 2nd and it had the faintest line on it, I was due on on the 4th and they was still a bit faint, so maybe implanted later or something I’m not sure

If you were due on the 4th Feb then you would be classed as 4w0d pregnant on 18th Feb. That would make you 4w3d on the day you posted this thread, so that ties in with what the clinic said. I would book an early scan for after March 3rd, at which point you’ll be 6w0d. Best of luck 😊
