Pregnancy bump

Hey!!!

This might seem random but I am 22 weeks pregnant!

I have a bump ( not a massive one) because I am only 22 weeks and the baby is still tiny but I feel like my bump hasn't grown for weeks!!

Just wanted to ask and see if anyone else had this before 🤣 this is my first pregnancy!

Maybe I need to start taking pictures every 2 weeks to see the difference

Also I do know that my belly will be smaller in the morning compared to nights...

Maybe I am panicking for no reason. Just wanted to ask because it would make me feel better😅

I'm 33 weeks and feel like my bump has barely grown for weeks but had a scan last week and baby is a few days ahead of expected. Some people just carry smaller and dont have massive bumps. My bump always measures behind, same with my son but no issues when going for a growth scan of baby, fluid etc all normal too x

Hey. I’m 19 weeks with my first and exactly the same. I had a small bump appear at the top of my belly and not grown since. Tbf I just look like I’ve eaten too much. It’s also bigger at night. Also haven’t felt baby yet which is panicking me but apparently it’s all normal for first pregnancies

Also 19 weeks and feeling a bit in the same boat. Movement of baby is infrequent, i could feel multiple times in a day...and then nothing for 2 days...AND I don't know sometimes if it's always movement, or not!

My bump seemed to suddenly appear last week but hasn't changed - i'm also aware that I haven't eaten as much as last week so there's that too.

You can always lay on your back and feel your tummy! Feel your womb and gradually week by week you may feel it rising up. It's wonderful to try!

Awh if you are only 19 weeks you probably won't get any movement until 21/22 weeks I won't worry.

I think we always look at our bumps so
much we might not notice also!

I am going to start measuring my bump too every two weeks and write it down.

I had my scan last week and she was measuring how she should be xxx

I am so glad tho that I am not the only one thinking about the size of the bump I get everyone's bellies are different and when I see people I haven't seen for a few weeks they go wow your belly has grown but to me it hasn't changed for weeks!

I don't know what to do call the midwife 🙈

I am also 22 weeks and now have a noticeable bump but I didn't really notice it actually growing. I take a pic once a week and it is gradually getting bigger. As you said though the time of day makes a difference, sometimes mine is really soft and just like layer of squidgy fat and sometimes it's quite hard.
I have felt loads of movement the last few days but hardly anything before that and today she's been quieter than yesterday but I'm assured that's normal as when they are still small they can 'hide' and have plenty of space to move about and change position.

This is my second pregnancy and I'm 23 weeks and I've got a bump, but it's easily disguised to look like I've just had a good meal. With my first pregnancy I didn't pop until around 30ish weeks. I think it's different for everyone. I thought I would be huge second time round but I think I'm much the same as my first pregnancy

I'm glad I am not the only one I thought I sounded super silly when I put this

With my first pregnancy I didn’t show until I was 6 months / 7 months. I had such strong stomach muscles and carried more in the back.

This time round (5th) I was showing at 8 weeks. The pregnancy hormones kicked in early and my muscles were already stretched. At 24 weeks I look like I am about to give birth and I am already waddling!

My belly does this too if I am led down it's soft but when I stand up it's hard. I did mention it to my midwife and she said that obviously everyone's bellies are different and show at different times also. She then said that we measure the bumps at 25 weeks and if they have Concerns then they would sent us for a growth scan!

@Chelseaaaaa yep it changes consistency all the time, I assume as we get further along it becomes harder most of the time. Now I can feel the baby it's clear at this stage they still have room to move because I feel movements in different places daily. Be interesting to see what measurements are at 25 weeks because everyone is so different it must be hard to have an 'average' as such. My friend is 6 weeks ahead of me and her bump isn't much bigger than mine.
