I'm not sure how pregnant I am! Irregular periods

Can anyone help me?

I took a cheap line test on Sunday 18th Feb after feeling a little bit tired and sore boobs and it was a light positive! Confirmed with clear blue which said pregnant 1-2 weeks.

I've been back and forth to the doctors for months as my periods were non existent after having my first - I had one period from July - December 2023

My last period was 28th December - I tested negative on January 26th and I assumed this was just yet another missed period. I've registered my pregnancy with midwives and it's saying due to LMP dates I'm 7 weeks +, but I don't think I am!

Can anyone help me with dates or how I can find out how pregnant I am? I'm guessing around 4 weeks but I don't know if this is right 🫣

I don't think you will be able to tell without a scan

Get your midwife to send you for a date scan. They should do one for you as you've had irregular periods.

I'm thinking the same, unsure if I should book a private scan and if so, when I should book one for as says you have to be at least 6 weeks plus 😩 which I don't know when will be lol x

Just thought I’d update this thread in case anyone else searches in the future for info

Spoke to a lovely lady at my local birth centre who gave me lots of advice, said in their eyes they would currently date me as around 5-6 weeks and that hold tight for my booking apt and 12 week scan. She was really reassuring.

I'm going to book a private scan for a couple of weeks time so that's that... I suppose I'll know better dates then!
