First pregnancy and feel horrific

I’m only 5.5 weeks pregnant and I feel like complete shit. It’s my first pregnancy so I’m not really sure what to expect or if this is normal this early on. I am so nauseas, can’t stop eating!! I feel sluggish all the time. I feel bigger already especially as my boobs have just expanded! They’re also incredibly painful. Does this go away? Is this normal? Help

Hey, I’m 8+3 with my first and from everything I’ve read and heard from everyone on here, that all sounds really normal.

For me, the nausea hit hard in week 5 and I had to take time off work. Week 6 was a bit better because I learned how to cope with it, but that’s also when my sore breasts got even more sore (already gone up 2 bra sizes and I wasn’t small to begin with). Week 7 was when I started actually throwing up, and I’m now on Week 8 which is just a whole shitshow of nausea, sickness, headaches and generally feeling like crap.

Every pregnancy is different, so you might feel like you do now for a while, or it might get easier, or it might get worse (hopefully not), but it is all within the realm of normal. If it gets too unbearable, reach out for help. The only reason I haven’t been to my GP yet is because my booking appointment is this week, so I figured I’d just hold out until then, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ask for help sooner if you need it.

I remember saying to my DH at about week 7 that I felt like I'd been hit by a tonne of bricks. I wasn't even that sick but I just felt different on every level, emotional, exhausted, nauseous but hungry, appetite totally off, bloating, bonkers sense of smell. Got better from about 10 weeks and definitely by second trimester. I think the hormones affect every bit of you and it's not like much you've experienced before. That said if you are throwing up and struggling to keep food/water down get help, GP, midwives, HG charities etc, don't feel like you should put up with it as "normal".

Heyy, I am 6+4 and I feel exactly the same!! This is my first pregnancy too. I’ve been nauseous since week 4/5. For the last 5-6 days I have been vomiting uncontrollably and I am constantly dizzy which doesn’t help the nausea…

Is there anything that you have found to help with this? I work with food and every time I am in work it is unbareable :(

First trimester first pregnancy, not feeling magical and excited. Feeling 1000 symptoms of nausea and pain, but equally kinda worried if the symptoms leave that I'll be even more concerned.
