So me and my partner have been trying for over a year for a baby and my partner was due to come 2 days ago but is late
she did a hcg stick first thing this morning which came back with a faint positive line, but then since this afternoon has done two more and a clear and simple early response pregnancy test which have both come back negative, we’re so confused and upset at having this same heartbreak every month

First morning urine will have the strongest concentration of HCG, so don’t be disheartened. There’s a definite line on the second test pic.

try not to test multiple times a day, just do it once with FMU every few days then stop once you’re certain you have a line :) stick with pink dye tests.

I’d try a clearblue (even better if they do an early detection test). They are brilliant tests. Clearblue digital is great. Best of luck x

I can actually see a faint line of the bottom test in the first pic, and a clear line in the second pic.
As previous posters have mentioned, test with first morning urine, as it becomes diluted during the day from drinking water etc. If you are desperate to try again later in the day, do a 4 hour hold, with minimal water to try and get the concentration back up a little!

Quick update 3 days late and done two more test with morning wee and unfortunately both negative 😔 we’re so upset

I'm sorry to hear that, it may have been a chemical pregnancy as there was a faint line before the negatives. Hoping you get your miracle soon!
