Listeria 31 weeks pregnant?

I've been very poorly with diarrhoea and painful tummy cramps for 16 days now. Been back and forth from GP, they finally sent a stool sample off a few days ago but still not had results.
I'm feeling worse than ever today, over 2 weeks of diarrhoea, awful contraction like cramps, body pains and just generally not feeling well at all
This is started when I ate at a certain restaurant on the 2nd feb. I reported online possible food poisoning on a website and got an email a few minutes later saying there was confirmed cases of listeria from other people who have been there

My question is how serious is listeria in pregnancy if that is what's wrong with me? A quick google search brings up very worrying things

Has anyone had listeria in pregnancy before and baby has been fine?😞 I'm hoping it's just a stomach bug that's not shifting

Call 111. I'm surprised at 31 weeks pregnant you have been left with diarrhea for 16 days...can you call your midwife and inform them? With a contraction pain too, i would be heading straight in to maternity triage.

I'm seeing out of hours at 5 hoping they can help:( they did originally just tell me to see a local pharmacy but I said I want to be seen by a dr

I would ring triage up and speak to them. It can be really harmful to baby if you have it. I'm surprised your local council didn't bring you a sample pot to submit a sample (we do at our council) you are classed as a vulnerable person.

But yes I would be ringing triage and speaking to them.

They were useless :( told me to go gp tomorrow and see what they suggest, out of hours just prescribed me buscapan
