i just had my twenty week scan and have been told my babies head is just above the third centile while the femur length is near the 50th centile and the abdominal circum is near the 25th, i have a scan booked for just under two weeks time and cant seem to stop worrying about this, has anyone had a similar experience?

not the same no, but i have been asked to have another scan in 2 weeks because my baby is below average for size at 32 weeks.
Having said that i have looked at the graph and yes its not up to the average marker but the growth has been uniform and steady so i think they can be a bit iffy.
try not to worry.

So sorry to hear you're worrying. It is probably absolutely fine, lots of factors can make the head look an odd size such as where it is in your body and how it's being moulded at that particular time or maybe the sonographer's a bit inexperienced or not being very thorough. When I had a scare like this a few months ago I booked a private scan at the FMC in London and they reassured me.

at my next scan the babys head was still near the third centile but the consoltant said not to worry as long as it was steady
