Sorry for the picture (TMI) but has anyone had similar and everything been ok? I called EPU but they said unless I was soaking a pad they could not offer anything.

Hi I had brown discharge throughout my pregnancy with ds it popped up at 6,13,17,22,26,30,32 weeks he was a rainbow baby so I was very nervous and I kept booking private scans. I must have spent at least a 500 pound on private scans. But the peace of mind was so worth it he is now a happy 2 year old pretending to make tea in his play kitchen currently. Hope that helps x

Thank you @Thelionroars. I have had many private scans, essentially every two weeks which I hope isn’t harmful. Pregnancy after loss has been hard. I’m hoping for a positive outcome like you. Did they ever find the cause of the spotting?

Said I had a sensitive cervix. But ds was a huge baby 9lb11oz born at 39 weeks. They actually didn't believe I was in labour, I was passing clots and bleeding heavily at home they told me to stay at home as they said they knew I had a history of bleeds and brown discharge. I ignored them and went to hospital any way. Glad I did as he was born 2 hours afterwards! It helps when you can feel them kicking my anxiety calmed allot more then. The last scans were done by hospital as I had excess fluid and was measuring ahead.

@Newusername2024 any update on this? I'm having similar and sick with worry.

Newusername2024 · 24/02/2024 16:50

Sorry to hear you are having similar @FirsttimerMA. I didn’t have any more after I posted but haven’t got a scan until 20 weeks. Have you spoken to EPU/your midwife?

Was that spot the only time you saw it?

@FirsttimerMA this time yes, but I did have previous episodes before 12 weeks.
