Hi all, feeling slightly concerned about something I’ve eaten…I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant.

This evening I was making dinner (had some mushrooms cooking in passata) and chucked in some dried split red lentils, I added a tiny bit of water and let it simmer, but not for long at all, I then put the dish in the oven for 15/20 minutes but when I took it out to eat it the lentils were still quite hard.

I stupidly didn’t realise that I should’ve boiled them first and am now panicking about things I’m reading on the internet about how dangerous undercooked/raw lentils can be!

I didn’t eat that much but I’m still worried, and my partner ate most of his.

Not sure what to do…can anyone offer any advice?

Definitely don't Google. Assuming you haven't been sick by now, you'll be fine.
