Hi,

I went through a miscarriage last year in February and I'm now pregnant again however I'm struggling with my anxiety I'm constantly worried it's going to happen again. I know what will be will be but I'm over analysing everything and it's getting me down.

I had really bad sickness/nausea for 5 days now I feel relatively normal I feel nauseous if I don't eat. Can morning sickness come and go? I've noticed my breast soreness fluctuates from time to time sometimes they are really sore and other days just tender.

Has anyone else experienced morning sickness coming and going?

I never had morning sickness just nausea but that was very much on and off. In fact all symptoms were coming and going. At week 7 ish it all stopped all of a sudden and I panicked but they started again the next day. I too thought initially that symptoms would be more of a constant but it doesn't work that way.
Congratulation on your pregnancy and hope it will be a smooth ride! I am 35 weeks today, not long to go...

It definitely comes and goes for lots of people :) For quite a while when I was at your stage it was literally every other day was either a good day or a bad day. Needless to say I felt very put out whenever I had two or more bad days in a row! 13 weeks tomorrow and hoping the good days will start to outweigh the bad!

@TTCbaby2023 it's crazy isnt it you think once you get symptoms they'd stay it's so scary when they just up and leave. I do feel nauseous still but I couldn't even keep food down a few days ago, I'm glad it can come and go. I've still got my other symptoms though, congratulations! Wishing you the best of luck, I bet you can't wait for baby's arrival now x

@Mauhea Thankyou for replying, I'm glad it's not just me I'm just such a worrie but more so after a miscarriage as every loss of symptom or ache/pain I worry! But from what I have read in the early stages it is quite normal. Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy x

@Jadelr yes pregnancy does crazy things and symptoms can be all over the place from one day to another! I didn't have many and they faded quite early before the end of the first trimester.

Yes very much looking forward to meeting our little girl 😊

It is normal I know it's worrying though I had the same thing early on with symptoms coming and going and all was OK and I am 18 weeks now, congratulations on your pregnancy 🙂

I was never physical sick, but the nausea was like an all day hangover for me which came and went. Every time all my symptoms disappeared I went into complete panic mode convinced I’d lost them and booked a private scan for reassurance and then my symptoms would come back and I’d berate myself for being so silly and not enjoying the day(s) of feeling normal and not pregnant. Then it would happen again and there’d be another panic for us.

@PixieTrance89 aw I'm so glad it's normal my sickness still hasn't came back but now I've got a crazy appetite I'm so hungry. I suppose it will come back eventually, Thankyou you too! x

@MuchTooTired it's so scary isn't it. I keep waking up in the hope my sickness will come back but it hasn't, so I'm still scared I've still got my other symptoms but for me my symptoms are abit of a comfort blanket. I've found that like the past couple of days I don't feel pregnant where as when I was sick etc I did but I suppose I just need to appreciate the days when I do feel a little better x

Hi, yes all turned out to be okay! My baby was born just over 6 weeks ago now ☺️ I found my symptoms did come and go for a while up until around 9 weeks and then I didn’t have any symptoms at all! I didn’t even feel pregnant 😂 somedays my boobs would feel sore, some days they would feel completely normal. The same with my sickness, it honestly made my anxiety through the roof but it turned out to be normal for me Xx
