Have you called EPU? Brown discharge is old blood. Might be nothing at all just your body clearing out but it might indicate a problem.

I have had 2 miscarriages and both started with brown discharge, I'm so sorry. It doesn't mean this is what is happening to you but you should go and get checked out.

Fingers crossed for you, I'm sure lots of ladies will be along with more positive stories soon.

I had brown discharge from 8-13 weeks it was darker and thicker than this though. I was told unless it's bright red blood and/or accompanied by strong cramps then not to worry..I'm 22 weeks now and baby is fine.
If you are concerned then do ask your midwife but as I said I was told it wasn't anything to worry about.

during one pregnancy I had my first two 'periods' except they were much lighter than usual, the second much much lighter than the first. Basically the lighter they are and the sooner they stop the less unusual it is. My second was a slightly heavier than this but died off immediately rather than escalating.

during a different pregnancy I lost a LOT of blood in early pregnancy like terrifying amounts and was called into hospital immediately to be checked out.

Both times the babies were fine. No cause for concern (imo) at the moment is my point.

Call EPU for a scan. I had this and was told it's probably fine and old blood but I went for a scan and it was a MMC.

@JRTfan @Knock123 @TeapotRo @stillplentyofjunkinthetrunk hi ladies.. I had a scan last week and all was fine, I called them today and they can't get me in until Tuesday morning morning for a scan... I have no pains and my boobs are sore and feel mildly sick on and off still this morning worried me because my boobs were not sore at all until I've just takin my bra off and they are feeling sensitive again ... I've had a mmc and had brown blood weeks b4 my scan this blood looked much darker and thicker but thays what I'm concerned about ... i cancelled my booking appointment with midwife today as I'm unsure what's going on with this pregnancy as I don't want to go to appointment and have 12weeks scan appointments popping up if all goes wrong.. x
