Help with test

Hi all can someone offer me some advice I tested positive on an early pregnancy clear blue 5 days before my period due so this was Tuesday
and today I’ve taken a digital one today again and early which says not pregnant
any advice? I’m a little confused due on Friday

It could be test sensitivity although if the digital was an early one it should be able to give you an accurate result two days before your period is due. Can you get a pink dye test? The CB blue dye ones are notorious for evaps and false positives so try another brand of test if you can get hold of one easily.

What's the sensitivity of the digital? I very very very highly suspect that this is just down to the sensitivity of the digital not being enough to register yet. As a word of advice (9 children from 14 pregnancies) do not test until you're late...really...I know it's hard but it saves an awful lot of heartache! When I hady first it was still the days of don't test before you're a week late! 😱 If I were you I'd get a first response early response test (I think boots do their own version of it) Take the test on Friday morning and then if it's positive do NOT do another test! At all!!

They don’t look like positive tests to me. The line is too thin. I’m afraid Clearblue are notorious for this.

That’s not to say that you won’t get a positive, it’s still very early. Get some pink dye tests or wait until you’re late and try another digital.

Clearblue are so bad for evaps, usually showing as a thin line like yours. It could just be the hcg isn’t high enough to show on a digital. Try an early pink dye test , boots do an own brand one that is good
