Hi ladies,
for the past week or so I have a constant feeling of wetness down there. It’s so annoying that I’ve been wearing a panty liner but nothing comes on it? I just have this wet feeling and I have to wipe myself as I can’t stand it. When wiping sometimes it’s clear sometimes it gots a yellow hint to it and the smell is pretty much like normal discharge. I even bought those amnio checks pads and are clear although not sure how accurate the results could be on that.

just wondering if anyone else had any similar experience or advice🫶🏻

I would absolutely suggest that you see your midwife..

I had this sporadically from about 12 weeks and still do now and again. I wear a panty liner every day because it's worse when moving about a lot. I had a scan last week (21 weeks) and baby is fine, apparently clear, watery discharge is fairly normal but obviously if you are concerned just give your midwife a call.

While I can't comment on your case and say you should probably ask someone with medical expertise to rule out infection ect.
I'm 19 weeks and have had constant on/off wetness since beginning. It drives me mental. Apparently your vagina produces more fluid to keep any bacteria out and its perfectly normal for an increase in cm

Hi,

Any update on this? I seem to be having this at 14 weeks and am worried sick about a leak

CB2805 · 04/03/2024 11:35

@FirsttimerMA for me it’s just normal pregnancy discharge. Apparently is very common although very annoying! 20w now and still have the wetness.

When I wipe there's not always discharge though. It just seems watery? Did you have the same?

CB2805 · 04/03/2024 15:23

@FirsttimerMA exactly the same! When whipping is just watery discharge and even on my underwear are mostly damp and only a few times I can see white discharge. Sorry tmi

@CB2805 ahh okay.
Yesterday I had the usual globs. Today it's just like water. Like urine almost. I've been trying to call my midwife all day and just can't seem to get through.
It's reassuring that you had the same though.

CB2805 · 04/03/2024 21:14

@FirsttimerMA i hope everything is alright and I believe it could be just normal discharge. Give a call to your local EPU, they would be able to advise you further

@CB2805 I will do. I think they're sick of me at this point though. It's been a rough few weeks. I did also have some thicker discharge in the evening mixed in. So thinking this might just be my normal.

CB2805 · 05/03/2024 11:28

@FirsttimerMA dont worry I was in and out of epu from 10w to 16w and have made numerous calls to them. It’s better to get checked than sorry that’s my moto🫶🏻

@CB2805 glad I'm not the only one! Completely agree. Took me 3 visits to convince them to do a high vagina swab, which did in fact find an infection. We need to advocate for ourselves!

I have this watery substance and feel it actually come out sometimes . Has it from about 11 weeks and I’m 19 weeks now. It’s like pure water when I put my hands down there to feel it. ( gross sorry) been checked but I don’t have speculums due to past issue so the swab test was a blind test so not as reliable but it was negative . But I’m still so anxious. Sometimes when I move in bed I feel wet and when I check I am. Nothing goes on my pad when I wear one but I don’t often as I feel it masks any wet spots. Sorry this is quite ramble like.. just very worried but been told it’s fine. Just hope they haven’t missed anything

How are you doing now? I'm 23 weeks and have been having watery discharge on and off since 17 weeks and went in yesterday to check it isnt amniotic fluid but they just checked whether it was pooling which it wasn't, they didn't do the PH test so I'm still anxious

@Summersunx I'm not the person you tagged but it would've been either bacterial vaginosis or thrush I'm assuming x
