24 weeks - breech and my groin and hips are in bits already

Had a growth scan today and baby is breech (which explains the low kicks). No worries about the position, I’m high risk and having a section regardless but my god, my hips and groin are either in a constant dull ache or in pain. Just worried that I’m feeling this at only 24 weeks and baby’s legs are going to get longer and stronger.

Did anyone else have the same? Baby is on the 43rd percentile so not too big or anything. Do I resign myself to the pain for the next 14 or so weeks? I go to pregnancy yoga once a week and my hips feel better the morning after then back to being painful by the afternoon.

Mine was breach until about 31 weeks. It's really common at this gestation as they have so much room but the vast majority will turn on their own by third trimester. In the meantime you could try some of the exercises on spinning babies, can't hurt to have gravity help encourage.
And yes, being breach was really uncomfortable in my experience too, got so much better once she flipped. Try a support belt if you havnt already and sitting on an exercise ball.

I don't know what the recommendations are these days but when I was pregnant with my first 6 years ago, I was in agony with my back and hips. I saw a specialist pregnancy chiropractor and honestly it was phenomenal and worth every penny! DH had to help me into the appointment and I practically waltzed back out again. I went every two weeks from about 25 weeks. Only wished I had gone sooner. She had a special bed that when laying on your front had a bit for your belly, and she was very skilled. It freaked me right out with all the popping and cracking but it helped so much. We are TTC at the moment and if we get pregnant again, I will be visiting her again from the minute I start to get any kind of back or hip pain.
